"The facial Dr just walked out. he made impressions and we are hoping for surgery tomorrow night or Thursday . He does not want Trent to be discharged before surgery. Also after more nausea and the subsequent antinausea med..he ate a wee bit of ice cream  AND walked down to his new room! The other room was a physician sleep room...a crackerbox ! I slept in a recliner that didn't really recline . This room however has 2 beds...one for me! And lots of room! That tuckered Trent out and now he's sleeping! Oh..the maxilla surgeon agreed the palate had continued to open. Trent now can feel his cheek bones move when he moves his lower jaw."

4:14 p.m.  "What a difference this afternoon and right meds makes!!  Dr. Kennedy (face Dr) just here and said absolutely NOT discharge him!"

10:56 p.m.  "T finally settling down.  Has been a hard hard night so far.  So much pain.  He says the worst so far.  You can hear all the gurgling and he feels like he's going to choke.  Swallowing causing a suction feeling now in his nose."
